DIATONIC SCALE FRAGMENTS

IN THE KEY OF G MAJOR

DEFINITION

Diatonic - A scale that has five whole tones and two semitones.  An example of this is the Major and Minor Scales.

 

Unlike the Chromatic progressions we played early, in the diatonic progressions below we are simply playing within a key.

Play each measure 4 times.

After mastering the progressions above (4X per measure), now play each measure only one time.
